Mr. Naughton is AvalonBay's Chairman of the Board. He served as Executive Chairman of the Board throughout 2022, as Chief Executive Officer from 2012 until January 2022, and as President from 2005 until January 2021. Mr. Naughton has served as the Company's Chairman of the Board since 2013.
