We believe Mr. Speiser is qualified to serve on our Board because of his leadership and operational experience in the technology industry and knowledge of high-growth companies. Mr. Speiser has served as a member of our Board of Directors since our inception in July 2012, and as our Lead Independent Director since December 2019. Mr. Speiser also served as our part-time Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer from August 2012 to June 2014. Since 2008, Mr. Speiser has served as a Managing Director at Sutter Hill Ventures (Sutter Hill), a venture capital firm. Mr. Speiser currently serves on the board of directors of Workday, Inc. Mr. Speiser previously served on the board of directors of Pure Storage ending in 2019, and currently serves on the boards of several private companies. Mr. Speiser holds a B.A. degree in Political Science from the University of Arizona and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
