Mr. Izzo is a well-known leader in the utility industry and a national energy policy expert. He brings 30-plus years of experience in strategic planning, finance, risk management and public policy to the Board, as well as experience leading large, regulated companies. Mr. Izzo most recently served as the Executive Chair of Public Service Enterprise Group Incorporated ( PSEG ), having previously retired as its President and CEO. In this leadership role, he was a strategic advisor to the publicly traded, diversified energy holding company, whose largest subsidiary is a utility company providing affordable, reliable energy to major U.S. East Coast cities. He has diverse experiences across the energy industry, including roles with alternative and emerging energy technologies. This unique background provides valuable perspectives on the future global transition to lower carbon solutions. He is also a member of the U.S. Department of Energy s Fusion Energy Sciences Advisory Committee and the former chair of the Nuclear Energy Institute. Throughout his career, Mr. Izzo has been committed to leading companies and communities toward a more sustainable path.
