Mr. Halmy is the former Chief Financial Officer of Ally Financial Inc. ( Ally ) where he led the company through its initial public offering in 2014 and was responsible for all aspects of the company s financial, treasury and investment activities. Mr. Halmy retired from Ally in 2018 and became a senior advisor at McKinsey, predominately focusing on auto finance and banking until he stepped down in December 2024. Prior to joining Ally in 2009, Mr. Halmy was the Global Funding Executive for Bank of America where he was responsible for funding and liquidity activities.
