Dr. Catherine Woteki is Former Dean of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Iowa State University and Visiting Distinguished Fellow at the University of Virginia s Biocomplexity Institute. She previously served as USDA Chief Scientist and Under Secretary for Research, Education, and Economics (2010 2016), Global Director of Scientific and Regulatory Affairs at Mars, Inc., and USDA s first Under Secretary for Food Safety. A member of the National Academy of Medicine and fellow of multiple scientific societies, Dr. Woteki brings extensive expertise in food safety, nutrition, and regulatory science, along with significant board and advisory experience.
