Neal Shah serves as Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary of NioCorp Developments Ltd., a U.S.-based mineral exploration and development company focused on the Elk Creek Critical Minerals Project in Nebraska. In this dual role, Shah oversees all financial operations, including capital raising, investor relations, treasury management, and regulatory compliance. He also manages corporate governance matters as Secretary, ensuring adherence to securities laws and board protocols. His strategic leadership is pivotal as NioCorp advances toward construction and production of niobium, scandium, titanium, and magnetic rare earth oxides to meet growing U.S. critical minerals demand. With over 20 years of experience in finance and capital markets within the mining and natural resources sectors, Shah brings a proven track record of driving growth and value creation. Prior to joining NioCorp in May 2023, he was CFO of Stillwater Critical Minerals Corp. (formerly Group Ten Metals Inc.), where he spearheaded a successful consolidation and rebranding, raising over C$20 million in equity financings. Previously, Shah held senior finance roles at Skeena Resources Ltd., Dundee Corporation, and First Majestic Silver Corp., contributing to multiple financings totaling hundreds of millions, mergers and acquisitions, and a TSX listing. Shah's achievements include orchestrating complex financings during volatile markets, optimizing capital structures, and enhancing stakeholder communications. A Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder, he holds an MBA from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto and a BComm from McGill University. Under his guidance, NioCorp continues to secure strategic partnerships and funding to de-risk its flagship project, positioning the company for long-term success in the critical minerals space.
