Mr. Biswas has served as our Chief Executive Officer and as the Chairman of our Board of Directors since February 2015. Prior to co-founding Samsara, he was the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Meraki, an information technology company, from April 2006 to December 2012. He served as Vice President and General Manager at Cisco Systems, a technology company, from December 2012 to January 2015 following Cisco s acquisition of Meraki in 2012. Mr. Biswas holds a B.S. in Computer Systems Engineering from Stanford University and an S.M. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. We believe Mr. Biswas is qualified to serve as a member of our Board of Directors because of the perspective and experience he brings as our Chief Executive Officer and as one of our co-founders, as well as his prior business experience.
