Ms. McCarthy retired in 2019 as executive vice president of CVS Health Corporation, a health innovation company (NYSE: CVS), supporting the technology integration following the completion of CVS Health s acquisition of Aetna, Inc. in 2018. She served as executive vice president of operations and technology for Aetna, Inc., a diversified healthcare benefits company, from 2010 until 2018, where she was responsible for innovation, technology, data security, procurement, real estate and service operations.
