David E. Johnson has been a director since May 2023. Since 2017, Mr. Johnson has served as the Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer of Caligan Partners LP, an SEC registered investment adviser. Previously, he served as Managing Director at the Carlyle Group, a global private equity, alternative asset management and financial services firm, from 2010 to 2017, and as Vice President in the Principal Investments area at Morgan Stanley, a global financial services and investment management firm, from 2004 to 2010. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Mr. Johnson worked at Weiss Asset Management, an investment management firm, from 2003 to 2004. Mr. Johnson has served as a member of the board of directors of Liquidia Corporation, a publicly held biopharmaceutical company, since 2021, and on the board of directors of AMAG Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a publicly held pharmaceutical company specializing in products treating iron deficiency anemia, from 2019 until its acquisition by Covis Group S. r.l. in 2020.
