Nancy E. She was Vice President, Associate General Counsel at Relypsa, Inc., where she managed legal operations during its $1.3 billion acquisition by Gilead Sciences in 2016. Prior to that, she served as Senior Director and Associate General Counsel at Onyx Pharmaceuticals, contributing to its $10.4 billion acquisition by Amgen in 2013. Earlier in her career, Nancy practiced as a corporate attorney at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, advising high-growth biotech and technology firms on financings, licensing, and IPOs. Nancy's achievements include successfully navigating complex regulatory landscapes, securing robust IP portfolios, and facilitating high-stakes transactions that delivered significant value to stakeholders. She earned her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law and her B.A. from Pomona College, bringing deep expertise in FDA regulations and biotech commercialization to aTyr Pharma's ambitious pipeline.
