Ms. McDonnell previously served as Chairman and CEO of the Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company. She joined Penn Mutual in 2008 and retired as CEO in 2021, after serving in that capacity for a decade. Ms. McDonnell was appointed to The Penn Mutual Board of Trustees in 2010 and retired from its Board in March of 2026.
