Mary Thistle , has served as a member of our board of directors since May 2021. Previously, Ms. Thistle served as Chief of Staff from 2018 to 2020 and Special Advisor from 2020 to 2022 to the Bill & Melinda Gates Medical Research Institute, a non-profit biotech organization. Prior to this, she held senior leadership positions at Dimension Therapeutics, Inc., a gene therapy company, including Chief Operating Officer from 2016 to 2017 and Chief Business Officer from 2015 to 2016. Prior to joining Dimension Therapeutics, Inc., Ms. Thistle held various leadership positions at Cubist Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company, including Senior Vice President, Business Development from 2014 to 2015, Vice President, Business Development from 2012 to 2013 and Senior Director, Business Development from 2009 to 2012. Ms. Thistle currently serves as a member of the boards of directors of Atkis Oncology, Inc., a publicly traded biotechnology company, Cullinan Therapeutics, Inc., a publicly traded biotechnology company, Q32 Bio Inc. (formerly Homology Medicines, Inc.), a publicly traded biotechnology company, as well as on the board of a private company. Ms. Thistle previously served on the board of directors of Vigil Neuroscience, Inc., a publicly traded biopharmaceutical company, from April 2022 to August 2025 and Alaunos Therapeutics, Inc. (formerly known as Ziopharm Oncology, Inc.), a publicly traded biopharmaceutical company, from November 2020 to December 2023. Ms. Thistle received a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts. We believe that Ms. Thistle is qualified to serve on our board of directors due to her finance background and industry experience.
