Age 68. Independent Director. Deborah M. Messemer has been a member of our board of directors since January 2022. Ms. Messemer currently serves on the boards of PayPal Holdings, Inc. and Allogene Therapeutics, Inc., both public companies. Ms. Messemer is a certified public accountant. She joined KPMG LLP (KPMG), the U.S. member firm of KPMG International, in 1982 and was admitted into the partnership in 1995. Most recently, she served as the Managing Partner of KPMG s Bay Area and Northwest region until her retirement in September 2018. Ms. Messemer spent the majority of her career in KPMG s audit practice as an audit engagement partner serving public and private clients in a variety of industry sectors.
