Dr. Michael A. McRobbie serves as University Chancellor, President Emeritus, and University Professor at Indiana University (IU). He previously served as the 18 th President of IU, one of the largest universities in the U.S., from July 1, 2007 until his retirement on June 30, 2021. Dr. McRobbie served as a vice chair of the board of directors of Indiana University Health System until his retirement from IU. A native of Australia, Dr. McRobbie holds a bachelor of arts degree with first class honors from the University of Queensland, and a Ph.D. from Australian National University. Dr. McRobbie joined the Board in July of 2021 and serves on the Compensation Committee. Dr. McRobbie also serves on the Board of Directors of Torrens University of Australia. The Nominating Committee believes that based on his experience and expertise in higher education and with education policy, as well as his familiarity with the Australian education and political system, Dr. McRobbie should serve as a director of the Company.
