J. Eric Evans has served as a director of Surgery Partners since January 2020. Mr. Evans is currently Chief Executive Officer of Surgery Partners, a role he has held since January 2020, and previously served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Surgery Partners from April 2019 until January 2020. Prior to joining Surgery Partners, Mr. Evans served as President of Hospital Operations of Tenet Healthcare Corporation from March of 2016 through 2018 as Chief Executive Officer of Tenet Healthcare Corporation s former Texas region from April 2015 to March 2016, and as Market Chief Executive Officer of The Hospitals of Providence in El Paso from September 2012 to April 2015.
