Mr. Filler has served as a director of the Company since 2007 and as a director of the Bank since its inception in May 2005. In January 2019, following Mr. Broughton becoming Chairman of our Board of Directors, Mr. Filler was appointed to serve as the Board s Lead Independent Director. Mr. Filler has been a private investor since his retirement in 2006. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Filler spent 44 years in the metals recycling industry with Jefferson Iron & Metal, Inc. and Jefferson Iron & Metal Brokerage Co., Inc.
