Keith Gottesdiener, M.D., has served as a member of our board of directors since September 2025. Dr. Gottesdiener previously served as President, Chief Executive Officer and a member of the board of directors of Prime Medicine, Inc. (Nasdaq: PRME), a publicly traded biotechnology company, from July 2020 to May 2025. Prior to that, Dr. Gottesdiener served as Chief Executive Officer and a member of the board of directors of Rhythm Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: RYTM), a publicly traded biopharmaceutical company, from October 2011 to March 2020. Before joining the biotechnology industry, Dr. Gottesdiener spent 16 years at Merck Research Laboratories, where he held positions of increasing responsibility, including serving as a leader of Merck s late clinical development organization from 2006 to 2011 and leading Merck s early clinical development across all therapeutic areas from 2001 through early 2006. Earlier in his career, he was Associate Professor of Medicine at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Gottesdiener previously served on the board of directors of Intercept Pharmaceuticals, Inc. a biopharmaceutical company, from 2017 to 2024. He received his M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Medical School and his B.A. in Applied Mathematics from Harvard College. We believe Dr. Gottesdiener is qualified to serve on our board of directors because of his extensive executive leadership and drug development experience at various biopharmaceutical companies, as well as his distinguished scientific background.
