Mr. DeFranco joined the Board in December 2023 effective with the Merger. Mr. DeFranco is one of our Executive Vice Presidents and has been one of DISH s vice presidents and was a member of the DISH Board of Directors since its formation. During the past five years he has held various executive officer and director positions with DISH and its subsidiaries. During 1980, Mr. DeFranco co-founded DISH with Charles W. Ergen and Cantey M. Ergen. The Board concluded that Mr. DeFranco should continue to serve on the Board due, among other things, to his knowledge of DISH since its formation, particularly in sales and marketing.
