Mr. Degner became a director in 2023 when he was appointed the Company's Chief Executive Officer and President. Mr. Degner joined Range in 2010 as vice president of the Appalachia business unit and served in this role until 2018. Mr. Degner was named senior vice president of operations in 2018 and Chief Operating Officer in May 2019. Mr. Degner has more than 25 years of oil and gas experience, having worked in a variety of technical and managerial positions across the United States, including Texas, Louisiana, Wyoming, Colorado and Pennsylvania. Prior to joining Range, Mr. Degner held positions with EnCana, Sierra Engineering and Halliburton. Mr. Degner is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers. Mr. Degner holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Engineering from Texas A&M University. He is also a member of the National Petroleum Council.
