QVT Financial, through its managed and affiliated multi-strategy funds, is an experienced global investor in multiple industries, including biotech, financial, shipping and offshore industries. Mr. Gold founded QVT Financial in 2003. Mr. Gold also serves on the boards of directors of Okeanis Eco Tankers Corp., Awilco Drilling PLC, Integrated Wind Solutions and NAXS AB, in addition to various private companies. Mr. Gold holds an A.B. in Physics from Harvard College.
