Edward L. Rand, Jr. (Age 58) is the President and Chief Executive Officer of ProAssurance Corporation and was first elected to the Board of Directors in 2019. He formerly served as Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President, and Senior Vice President of Finance since joining ProAssurance in November of 2004. Prior to joining ProAssurance, Mr. Rand was Chief Accounting Officer and Head of Corporate Finance for PartnerRe Ltd. from 2000 to 2004. He also served as the Chief Financial Officer of Atlantic American Corporation from 1996 to 2000 and Controller of United Capitol Insurance Company from 1992 to 1996.
