He was Barnes Group s President and Chief Executive Officer from 2013 until 2022. Prior to that, Mr. Dempsey served as Barnes Group s Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer from 2012 to 2013. Mr. Dempsey joined Barnes Group in 2000 and held a number of other positions, including President, Windsor Airmotive; Vice President, Barnes Group; President, Barnes Aerospace; President, Barnes Distribution; and President, Logistics and Manufacturing Services. Prior to joining Barnes Group, Mr. Dempsey held leadership positions at United Technologies Corporation s (now known as RTX Corporation) Pratt and Whitney Division and the Interturbine Group of Companies.
