Mr. Carpenter has been a Director of the Company since May 10, 2018 and has served as Lead Director since May 13, 2021. Mr. Carpenter served as the Group President, Global Quality and Business Operations for Stryker Corporation ( Stryker ), a medical technologies company, from January 2016 to March 2019. In this role, Mr. Carpenter was responsible for setting company-wide direction for quality, manufacturing, procurement and logistics strategies, as well as the oversight of Stryker s commercial business operations in Europe, Canada, Eastern Europe, Middle East, Latin America and Africa. Mr. Carpenter served at Stryker as the Group President, Global Quality and Operations from 2011 to 2016, as the Group President, Instruments and Medical from 2008 to 2011, and as the President, Medical Division from 2006 to 2008.
