In that capacity, Mr. Miller directly engaged with institutional investors on ESG practices in the energy industry, including numerous large pension funds and university endowments. In addition to having served on the boards of four other publicly traded companies in the energy sector, Mr. Miller has served on the boards of numerous private oil and gas exploration and production companies. He is also a member of the National Petroleum Council, an advisory committee to the Secretary of Energy.
