Ms. McCormick, 64, is the Chief Financial Officer and a director of Mill Creek Development Company, an urban planning and development company in Pasadena, California. She currently serves on the board of Folience, a private company based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Her prior experience includes a career in investment banking with J.P. Morgan & Co., Incorporated in New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles. Ms. McCormick is the daughter of our former Chairman and former Director Emeritus, W. Richard Summerwill, and became a director of the Company in 2011 following his retirement from the board. She became a director of the Bank upon the completion of our merger with Central Bank in May 2015. Ms. McCormick received a Bachelor s degree in Economics and Communications from the University of Michigan and a M.Sc. in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science. We consider Ms. McCormick to be qualified to serve as the anticipated incoming Chair of the board of the Company and Chair of the board of directors of the Bank, as well as the Audit Committee due to her skills and expertise developed in investment banking and subsequent business experience.
