Michael Purcell has served as a director of International Money Express, Inc. since 2018 and was appointed lead independent director for the Company on September 24, 2020. Mr. Purcell is a certified public accountant and became an independent business consultant following retirement in 2015. Mr. Purcell spent more than 36 years with Deloitte & Touche LLP ( Deloitte ), where he was an audit partner and the Philadelphia office leader of Deloitte s middle-market and growth enterprise services. Mr. Purcell has served on the boards of directors of numerous companies and organizations, and currently serves as a board member of publicly traded Hepion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: HEPA). Mr. Purcell also serves as a director and a member of the audit committee for each of CFG Bank and Hyperion Bank and as a director of several other for-profit and non-profit entities. Mr. Purcell formerly served as chairman of the board, director and chair of the audit committee of publicly traded Tabula Rasa HealthCare, Inc. (NASDAQ: TRHC) from 2018 until 2023. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a former President of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Purcell holds a bachelor s degree from Lehigh University and a master s degree in business administration from Drexel University.
