Darren Throop is a Canadian entrepreneur whose leadership has reshaped the global entertainment industry. He began his career in 1991 by founding Urban Sound Exchange and later expanded into music distribution through strategic acquisitions. In 2001, he became CEO of ROW Entertainment, taking the company public in 2003 and rebranding it as Entertainment One (eOne). Under Mr. Throop s leadership, eOne grew into a powerhouse in film, television, and music, fueled by key acquisitions and partnerships.
