Alexander Drummond joined American Express Company in July 2021 and currently serves as the Executive Vice President and General Manager of Membership Portfolio Services, previously serving as the Chief Strategy Officer from July 2021 until October 2024. Mr. Drummond is responsible for accelerating the growth on some of American Express Company s most critical membership services, including in Dining and American Express Offers and Media Services. Mr. Drummond also serves as Chairman of the Board of American Express Carte France, American Express Company s French legal entity. Prior to joining American Express Company, Mr. Drummond was a Managing Director and Partner at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) where he led Payments and Transaction Banking for North America and was part of BCG s global payments management team. During Mr. Drummond's time at BCG, he also led payments projects in growth strategy, large scale cost transformation, customer journey reimagination efforts, cobrand negotiation and turnaround, and strategic due diligence for both North American and European financial institutions. Mr. Drummond received his MBA from INSEAD in Singapore and a master s degree in electrical engineering from Universit Catholique de Louvain. Mr. Drummond was nominated to the Board of Directors by American Express pursuant to the Shareholders Agreement. Mr. Drummond's extensive experience in business, strategy and technology, including as a senior executive officer of American Express Company, led the Board of Directors to conclude that he should serve as a director for the Company.
