Donald J. Tomnitz has served as Executive Chairman of the Board of Forestar since October 2017. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Tomnitz was a consultant to D.R. Horton from 2014 to 2017. From 1998 to 2014, Mr. Tomnitz was the Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of D.R. Horton, after having served as its President, Executive Vice President and as President of D.R.
