Chief Executive Officer, First Community Bankshares, Inc., Bluefield, Virginia and Attorney, Brewster Morhous PLLC, Bluefield, West Virginia. Mr. Stafford is a graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Blacksburg, Virginia, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He also holds a Juris Doctor, cum laude , from Washington & Lee University School of Law, Lexington, Virginia. Mr. Stafford is a member of Brewster Morhous PLLC and practices law on a limited basis primarily in the areas of commercial transactions, commercial lending, banking, creditor s rights, and trusts and estates. Mr. Stafford has served as Chief Executive Officer of the Corporation since his appointment by the Board in August 2013. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of the Corporation and Chairman of the Board of the Corporation s banking subsidiary. Mr. Stafford serves as Director and Corporate Secretary of the H. P. and Anne S. Hunnicutt Foundation, Inc., Princeton Machinery Service, Inc., and Melrose Enterprises, Ltd.
