Mr. Kennedy has served as one of our directors since April 2011. Mr. Kennedy served on the Board of Directors of Motionworks, a predictive population intelligence platform, from May 2023 to December 2024. He has previous public company board experience, having served as a director of Visual Networks, Inc., a network and performance management solutions provider, from 2002 until it was acquired by Fluke Electronic Corporation, an electronic test tools and software company, in 2006. He also served on several private boards: Avizia from 2014 until its merger with American Well in July 2018; Hatteras Networks from 2005 to 2011, when Hatteras Networks merged with Overture and Imagine Communications from 2007 until its acquisition by Harris Broadcast in 2010. He also served as a board member of the Grid Wise Alliance, a leading industry coalition driving the modernization of the U.S. electric system from 2013 to 2017. He currently serves on the Virginia Tech Dean of Engineering Advisory Committee.
