Peter Thompson, M.D. co-founded the Company and has served as a member of our board of directors since May 2017. He has also served as chairperson of our board of directors since August 2017. Dr. Thompson is a Partner at OrbiMed Advisors LLC, an investment firm focused on the healthcare sector, where he previously served as a Venture Partner since joining in September 2010. Dr. Thompson is also the Chairman of Terremoto Biosciences, Inc., a biotechnology company developing targeted therapeutics, since August 2024, where he previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer from August 2021 to August 2024. Dr. Thompson previously served as Chief Executive Officer and President of two private companies: Glia Biotherapeutics, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company targeting glia-mediated pathways, from July 2018 to July 2023 and Terremoto Therapeutics Holdings, LLC, a drug discovery and development company, from August 2021 to December 2022.
