Barb M. Pak serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Essex Property Trust, Inc. (NYSE: ESS), a leading institutional apartment owner and operator focused on premium West Coast markets including Northern and Southern California, Seattle, and Portland. In this role since February 2014, she oversees all aspects of the company's financial operations, including financial planning and analysis, accounting, tax, treasury, risk management, corporate development, and investor relations. Under her leadership, Essex has maintained a strong balance sheet, executed disciplined capital allocation, and navigated complex market dynamics to deliver superior long-term shareholder returns. Pak joined Essex in 2001 as Vice President of Finance, rising through the ranks to Senior Vice President and Treasurer in 2006.
