Angela L. Kleiman serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Essex Property Trust, Inc. Kleiman holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. Kleiman's achievements include spearheading Essex's portfolio expansion to over 62,000 apartment homes, navigating economic cycles with disciplined capital allocation, and integrating technology to enhance resident experiences and operational efficiencies. She has been instrumental in maintaining Essex's position as one of the nation's premier multifamily REITs, with a track record of outperforming peers in funds from operations (FFO) growth and dividend reliability. An active industry leader, Kleiman serves on the boards of the National Multifamily Housing Council and the Urban Land Institute, advocating for sustainable urban housing solutions.
