Ms. Filon acted as Strategic Advisor of GCP Applied Technologies Inc. ("GCP") from November 2016 to June 2019 consulting on M&A, strategic planning and analysis and corporate structure. She co-led the spin-off of GCP from W.R. Grace & Co. ("W.R. Grace"). Ms. Filon worked at W.R. Grace for 20 years, assuming various international leadership roles, ultimately serving as Vice President Finance from 2012 through June 2016. Ms. Filon has extensive experience in strategic planning and analysis, global M&A, tax planning, capital markets and currency management. Before joining W.R. Grace, she served as International Tax Counsel at Sterling Winthrop Pharmaceuticals and practiced law in the New York City office of Kelley, Drye & Warren LLP. Ms. Filon holds a J.D. degree from Harvard Law School and a B.A. degree from Rutgers University. Ms. Filon brings to the Board her deep industry and business experience as well as leadership skills from having worked at a peer specialty chemicals company for 20 years. She also contributes her extensive experience in strategic planning and analysis, global M&A, international tax planning, foreign currency and risk management.
