Joseph T. Chung has served as a director of the Company and Eastern Bank and trustee of its predecessor holding company, Eastern Bank Corporation, since 2014. He is self-employed. He was Chief Technology Officer and Head of AI at Rippl Care, a position he held from April 2024 to November 2025. He was co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Kinto, a care coaching platform for family members caring for loved ones with Alzheimer s Disease and related dementias, where he served from 2019 to 2025.
