Mr. Doerr has served as one of our directors since March 2015. Mr. Doerr has been Chairman of Kleiner Perkins, a venture capital firm ( Kleiner ), since March 2016, and was previously its General Partner since August 1980. He currently serves on the board of directors of Alphabet Inc., the parent holding company of Google, Inc., and several private companies, including Amyris, Inc., a renewable products company, and Watershed, an enterprise sustainability company. Mr. Doerr previously served as a director of Bloom Energy Corporation, a clean energy company, QuantumScape Corporation, a renewable energy company, Coursera, Inc., an education tech company, and Amazon. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Rice University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. Mr. Doerr was selected to serve on our board of directors because of his significant public company experience as a board member, his global business and leadership experience, his financial and investment expertise, and his extensive experience advising the senior management of high-growth and technology companies like ours.
