Mr. Kreps is a co-founder of our company and has served as Chief Executive Officer and a member of our Board of Directors since our inception in September 2014. From July 2009 to September 2014, he served as an engineer, engineering manager, and software architect at LinkedIn Corp., an employment-oriented online service company. He was one of the original creators of Apache Kafka while at LinkedIn. Mr. Kreps holds a B.S. in Computer Science and an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Mr. Kreps is qualified to serve on our Board of Directors because of his experience as co-founder of our company and co-creator of Apache Kafka as well as his extensive knowledge of the data analytics and cloud services industries.
