Maykin Ho, Ph.D. joined our Board in February 2021. Dr. Ho is a Venture Partner of Aulis Capital, a global healthcare venture capital firm, as well as a member of the Biotech Advisory Panel of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong. Dr. Ho is a retired partner of the Goldman Sachs Group, where she held various positions from July 1992 to February 2015, including as senior biotechnology analyst, co-head of Global Healthcare Investment Research, and advisory director for Healthcare Investment Banking. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Dr. Ho held various managerial positions in licensing, strategic planning, marketing and research at DuPont-Merck Pharmaceuticals and DuPont de Nemours & Company. She most recently was a venture partner of Qiming Venture Partners, a venture capital firm in China and Hong Kong, from July 2015 to July 2025. Dr. Ho currently serves on the boards of Agios Pharmaceuticals Inc., Kyntra Bio, Inc. (formerly FibroGen, Inc.) and Neumora Therapeutics, Inc., all public biopharmaceutical companies. She also serves on the boards of Parexel, a private biopharmaceutical services company, the Aaron Diamond AIDS Research Center at Columbia University and the Institute for Protein Innovation founded by Dr. Timothy Springer of Harvard University. Dr. Ho was previously a member of the board of directors of Grail, Inc., a private cancer detection company that was acquired by Illumina in August 2021 and divested in June 2024. Dr. Ho was a postdoctoral fellow at Harvard Medical School and a graduate of the Advanced Management Program at The Fuqua School of Business, Duke University. Dr. Ho holds a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology and a B.S. from the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center.
