Before being named president in September 2017, Ms. Gilliland served as GDIT s deputy for operations and was responsible for all aspects of the company s business operations. Ms. Gilliland joined General Dynamics in 2005 and has served in a variety of leadership roles, including senior vice president of human resources and administration, chief of staff for the chief executive officer and staff vice president of strategic planning, staff vice president of investor relations, and director of strategic planning. Prior to joining General Dynamics, Ms. Gilliland served in the U.S. Navy as a surface warfare and public affairs officer.
