Steve Ortega has been a director of the company since 2023 and lead independent director since 2025. Mr. Ortega is an accomplished senior executive and board director with decades of deep retail and digital experience. From 2019 through March 2024, he served as chairman of the board of directors of Leslie's Inc., a NASDAQ-listed company offering direct-to-consumer pool and spa care products and services. At Leslie's Inc., Mr. Ortega also served as president and chief executive officer from 2017 to 2020; as president and chief operating officer from 2015 to 2017; as executive vice president, chief financial officer and chief operating officer from 2014 to 2015; and as executive vice president and chief financial officer from 2005 to 2014. Prior to joining Leslie's Inc., he held a number of leadership positions at BI-LO, LLC, American Stores Company and Lucky Stores, Inc.
