Tony Bashir Sarsam has served on our Board of Directors since August 2023. He served as the President and Chief Executive Officer and a member of the board of directors of SpartanNash, a private food solutions company, from 2020 until September 2025 when C&S Wholesale Grocers completed its acquisition of SpartanNash. Following the transaction, Mr. Sarsam served as an advisor through the end of 2025. Before joining SpartanNash, Mr. Sarsam served as the chief executive officer of Borden Dairy Company, a private dairy processor and distributor, from 2018 to 2020, where he led the company through a restructuring, reorganization, and successful sale. Prior to Borden, he was the chief executive officer of Ready Pac Foods, a private food processing company, from 2013 to 2018 where he also served on the board of directors from 2014 to 2017. Mr. Sarsam holds a Bachelor of Science, Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from Arizona State University and a Master of Science in Management from Stanford University. The Board of Directors concluded that Mr. Sarsam should serve as a director based on his extensive experience serving as a chief executive officer of several companies in adjacent industries, his public company board and executive experience, and his strong knowledge of the food industry.
