From March 2003 until her retirement in 2013, she served as Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer and also served as Chairman of the U.S. Steel & Carnegie Pension Fund and its Investment Committee. Earlier, she served in various financial executive positions at U.S. Steel Corporation and USX Corporation, beginning in November 1991 when she became Vice President and Treasurer. Ms. Haggerty has served as a director of Teleflex Incorporated (NYSE: TFX), a global provider of medical technology products, since 2016 and currently serves as a member of the audit committee. Ms. Haggerty has also served as a director of Johnson Controls International plc (NYSE:JCI), since March 2018, where she serves as chair of the audit committee. She previously served as director of USG Corporation, a leading manufacturer of building materials, from 2011 to 2019.
