Todd S. Young serves as Chief Financial Officer of Acadia Healthcare Company, Inc., a leading provider of behavioral healthcare services with facilities across the United States and Puerto Rico. Joining Acadia in 2014 as Vice President of Finance, he was promoted to CFO in 2017. In this capacity, Todd oversees all aspects of financial operations, including financial planning and analysis, accounting, treasury management, tax strategy, risk management, and investor relations. His strategic oversight has been instrumental in supporting Acadia's expansion from approximately 100 facilities to over 250, driving sustainable growth in a dynamic healthcare landscape. Prior to Acadia, Todd held senior finance roles at Ardent Health Services, where he served as Vice President of Finance and Treasurer, managing treasury operations, capital markets activities, and financial reporting for a multi-state hospital system. Earlier in his career, he spent over a decade at Community Health Systems (CHS) in various finance and treasury positions, honing his expertise in healthcare financial management, mergers and acquisitions, and debt financing. A Certified Public Accountant, Todd earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Tennessee. Under Todd's leadership, Acadia has successfully navigated complex financial transactions, including multiple debt offerings, equity issuances, and high-profile acquisitions such as the $1.4 billion purchase of American Addiction Centers in 2023. His prudent capital allocation and focus on operational efficiency have contributed to significant revenue growth—from $2.3 billion in 2020 to over $3 billion in recent years—while maintaining strong liquidity and credit metrics, positioning Acadia as a resilient leader in behavioral health.
